Jefferson Health Care Foundation Fund Announces 2020 Grants

East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) announces grant recipients from Jefferson Health Care Foundation Fund of ETF.  Twenty (20) grants totaling $500,000 were awarded to nonprofit organizations whose programs directly benefit the health and well-being of Jefferson County residents.    

Jefferson Health Care Foundation (JHCF) Fund was created with funds from the former Jefferson Memorial Hospital.  JHCF Fund advisory board is comprised of individuals whose expertise and knowledge of the healthcare needs and resources in Jefferson County guided their funding recommendations.

Grants from Jefferson Health Care Foundation Fund have been awarded to the following organizations: Boys & Girls Clubs of Dumplin Valley; Carson-Newman University; Chestnut Hill Volunteer Fire Department; City of Baneberry; Dandridge Volunteer Fire Department; First Presbyterian Church; Girls Inc of Hamblen County; Jefferson County EMS; Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity; Jefferson County Rescue Squad; Joining Hands Health Center; Kansas-Talbott Volunteer Fire Department; Lakeway CASA, Inc.; Lakeway Central Volunteer Fire Department; New Market Volunteer Fire Department; Renovatus Recovery Community; SafeSpace; Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service; Town of Dandridge; and Town of White Pine Volunteer Fire Department.
