The Laura J. Kress Angel Tree Fund (Angel Tree Fund) was established in June 2019 in honor and in memory of Laura J. Kress, founder of the Angel Tree, who passed away earlier this year.  Forty-four years ago, she joined members of the West Knoxville Business and Professional Women’s Club to bring Christmas to dozens of children in need. With Laura's leadership, the Angel Tree has helped grant more than 725,000 gifts over four decades and now her life-long passion and dedication to fulfill wishes for these children in Tennessee during the Holiday Season will continue through grants provided from this fund.

Applications must be submitted no later than September 20, 2019 to be eligible for funding consideration.  Grant awards will range from $2,000 - $10,000.  Grants will be awarded in October 2019 to support the November 2019 – January 2020 Holiday Season.
