Youth Endowment Fund of East Tennessee Foundation Announces Grant Opportunity for Organizations Combating Adverse Childhood Experiences

May 01, 2019

East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is now accepting Letters of Intent (LOIs) for funding from the Youth Endowment Fund of East Tennessee Foundation. Organizations must be tax-exempt 501(c)(3) or other exempt entities located in ETF’s 25-county service area.

Proposals are sought to support programs that combat Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), stressful or traumatic events in a child’s life, and must address one or more of the following three priorities: Training Education and Staff Development; Implementation of ACEs Services; or Community Education.

LOIs must be submitted no later than May 24, 2019 to be eligible for further consideration. In summer 2019, a select number of organizations will be invited to submit full proposals.  Grant awards will primarily range from $5,000 - $20,000.  Two-year grants will be awarded in early fall 2019.

Information about the Youth Endowment Fund, the application process, and access to the LOI are available online at ETF’s website at www.easttennesseefoundation.org.

The Youth Endowment Fund was established at East Tennessee Foundation in 1987 to serve as a perpetual source of funds to address challenges affecting young people in East Tennessee.
