ARTS FUND FOR EAST TENNESSEE

The Arts Fund for East Tennessee (Arts Fund) was established by East Tennessee Foundation in 1986. It serves as a source of funds to support excellence in the arts, expand access to the arts, and connect artists with each other and with East Tennessee communities. Since its inception, more than $1.05 million has sustained arts organizations and funded arts programs throughout our 25-county service area.

Grants are awarded to support professionally managed arts organizations, both emerging and well-established; special artistic and cultural initiatives sponsored or conceived by organizations that are not primarily arts providers; arts activities designed primarily as therapy, rehabilitation or vocational training; and arts education projects that are outside the scope of those usually provided by the educational system primarily in public schools.
