strengthening communities and improving the quality of life in their county.

GRANTS PROGRAM: The Fund for Campbell County announces grant opportunities for 2008!

The deadline is Friday, February 15, 2008, postmarked by 5:00 pm.
There will be a free grant writing assistance workshop on February 5th from 3:00-4:00 at the Roane State Community College Campus Community Room located at 201 Independence Lane, LaFollette, TN 37766.
Any organization interested in submitting an application is encouraged to participate.
Grants will be made to support programs and projects that occur between June 1, 2008, and June 1, 2009.
Applicants are limited to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations located in and or serving Campbell County.

OTHER: ETF scholarships and competitive grant programs are also available to Cambell County residents and organizations.
Campbell County students are eligible to apply for the following 3 scholarships (Please click on application for deadline information.):
Dorsey and Betty King Scholarship: for graduating seniors planning to study business or nursing
B and W Y-12 Scholarship: for students planning to study math, science or pre-engineering at Roane State Community College or Pellissippi State Technical Community College
Ruby A. Brown Memorial Scholarship: for public health nurses or public health nursing students
