In 2011, East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is clebrating 25 years of thoughtful giving -- Neighbors caring for Neighbors. To mark the occasion and to demonstrate what the Foundation does in our 25-county service area, ETF has awarded one 25/$2,500 grants (one grant to a nonprofit in each of the 25 counties we serve) to East Tennessee Spay and Neuter in Carter County (http://etnspay-neuter.org/). The grant was hand-delivered on August 2, 2011, to a grateful staff and volunteers.

AFFILIATE:
Elizabethton/Carter County Community (ECCF)
Created by a group of dedicated Carter County residents in 2006 to serve the people of their county, the ECCF gives donors a way to connect their giving with local nonprofits, public agencies and compelling charitable causes.

With the goal of improving the quality of life of Carter County residents, the Elizabethton/Carter County Community Foundation serves as Carter County's own Community Foundation. Financial resources are collected and distributed throughout Carter County by ECCF. Monies raised in Carter County STAY in Carter County to benefit only Carter County and its citizens.
