Fund for Greene County (FGC)
Created in 1994 as a way to maintain the legacies of Greene County, FGC gives donors a way to connect their giving with local nonprofits, public agencies and compelling charitable causes. The FGC, established as a permanent endowment, provides an on-going resource to fund programs and projects that create opportunities and address challenges for all citizens in Greene County.

In 2011, East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is celebrating 25 years of thoughtful giving - Neighbors caring for Neighbors. To mark the occasion and to demonstrate what the Foundation does in our 25-county service area, ETF has awarded one of 25/$2,500 grants (one grant to a nonprofit in each of the 25 counties we serve) to Rural Resources in Greene County http://ruralresources.net. The grant was hand-delivered on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, to a grateful staff and volunteers. READ MORE
