Fund for Unicoi County
The Fund for Unicoi County was established in February 1999 by a gift from an anonymous donor to serve the people of Unicoi County by providing an on-going resource to fund endeavors creating opportunities and addressing challenges for all Unicoi County citizens.

Through local leadership and commitment, the Fund for Unicoi County provides opportunities for individuals, families and companies to make charitable contributions that will be used over time to make grants to local non-profit organizations, public schools, and other community-based efforts to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Unicoi County.

ETF 25^th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION:
In 2011, East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is celebrating 25 years of thoughtful giving - Neighbors caring for Neighbors. To mark the occasion and to demonstrate what the Foundation does in our 25-county service area, ETF has awarded one of 25/$2,500 grants (one grant to a nonprofit in each of the 25 counties we serve) to Change is Possible (CHIPS) Family Violence Center http://www.facebook.com/pages/Change-Is-Possible-CHIPS-Family-Violence-Shelter/306314871681. Support for this grant comes from the Substance Abuse Fund for Education Fund of East Tennessee Foundation. The grant was hand-delivered on September 19, 2011, to a grateful staff and volunteers.
