Fund for Greene County

An Affiliate Fund of East Tennessee Foundation

The Fund for Greene County was established in 1993 by a group of local donors who wanted to make a lasting commitment to the people of Greene County by developing a resource to achieve community goals and promote Greene County. The Fund for Greene County is a permanent endowment that has been created to support opportunities to advance and improve the quality of life of the residents of Greene County.

Grant Amounts and Term

Grants were awarded for one year in September 2016. Grant awards ranged from $1,000 to $4,000.

Application Process

The application was available in early May 2016.

Technical Assistance Workshop

A technical assistance workshop was offered on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Greeneville/Greene County Public Library (201 N. Main Street) to provide valuable insight into the grantmaking process and the types of programs that the Fund for Greene County seeks to fund.

o Funded projects must demonstrate the potential for significant impact on the community
