Carrie E. (Wolf) McConnell Memorial Scholarship
Purpose and History
Established in memory of McMinn County High School Counselor, Carrie E. (Wolf) McConnell, to assist graduating seniors from McMinn County High School.
$1,000-2,000 one-time award for one year
- Education Requirement: Graduating high school seniors from McMinn County High School
- Enrollment Requirement: Full-time or part-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university or non-traditional post-secondary education program or trade school, accredited by the appropriate accrediting body for the particular course of study
- Preference will be given to students who: may not display the highest academic rankings, but show potential and motivation; are the first generation in their family to pursue higher education; are not receiving another local scholarship; and who do not qualify for other financial assistance.
