March 23, 2020

In anticipation of a need to shelter in place due to COVID-19, and other emergencies that might from time to time occur in our region, ETF board and staff have developed a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan should our offices, for the protection of our staff, visitors, fundholders, and grantees, be forced to close.

Effective March 23, 2020:

ETF offices located at 520 W. Summit Hill Drive, Suite 1100 will close and remain closed until further notice.

ETF staff will work from their homes, and electronic gift receipts, grantmaking, and communication will continue as usual, perhaps at a slight delay.

ETF telephone calls will be answered during normal business hours, and return calls may be slightly delayed.

Fundholders may access their information through our Fundholder Portal. If you need assistance, please contact our staff

All business activities requiring the U.S. Postal Service, including processing gifts made by written check, will be SIGNIFICANTLY DELAYED. We encourage the use of electronic means and our website whenever possible.

If you are involved in an ETF committee, grants panel, scholarship selection committee, or other ETF meeting, you will be contacted by that meeting organizer. In most cases, those meetings will continue in electronic form. In some cases, they will be postponed or cancelled. An updated list of events is available on our website

We recognize that our work, especially our grantmaking, takes on even greater importance in the current situation, and we will continue these vital functions uninterrupted to the best of our ability. Many of our regional affiliate funds and our nonprofit service provider partners will be severely affected by the current situation. We will be actively making special circumstance grants from our Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund noted on our website. This emergency fund is currently activated and accepting donations
